Join the 1st Munato Festival Eco-Trek!



TEAM BUNDOL Mountaineers, in partnership with MAGU Sarangani Mountaineers and Madyaw Alabel Mountaineers Association, host the 1st Munato Festival Eco-Trek on November 26-27, 2011.

The First Munato Festival Eco-Trek aims to:

1. promote eco-tourism of Sarangani by exploring potential tourist sites in the province;
2. advocate the protection of the province’s natural resources; and
3. drumbeat sustainable development in the local community.

4 Cascades of Atnayan

How to Reach Atnayan

IN ORDER to reach Atnayan, one has to ride a motorcycle or a truck that takes more than an hour from the Poblacion. Upon reaching the point locally called Star Apple, the motorcycle or the truck will have to start crossing the meandering river several times to reach the village in Buenavista.



For the 1st Munato Festival Eco-Trek, the trekkers will ride a truck for the Provincial Capitol compound to Buenavista in Barangay Pag-asa.

The trekking will start at Buenavista. Sitio New Canaan is takes a two-and-a-half hour walk from Buenavista.



The campsite will be in Sitio New Canaan Integrated School.
